Jump Recruitment Specialists has partnered with Crosbie Group in their search for a Project Coordinator (1 year contract), reporting to their St. John’s, NL office.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the planning and execution of work scopes of varying sizes and complexity and will assist in the organizing and controlling of project activities for onshore and offshore operations.
The Project Coordinator will support project execution while delivering a strong customer service experience. This role will collaborate with frontline teams to identify process improvements and use best practices to integrate people, process, and equipment, ensuring seamless execution of work and transitions to more efficient service delivery to all customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
General
- Support service delivery to new and existing industrial clients
- Track project performance and analyze deliverables against requirements
- Manage project resources, including teams, equipment, and budgets to ensure the efficient use of resources and successful project delivery
- Develop and track project timelines, ensuring that key milestones are met, and issues are addressed proactively
- Ensure proper documentation of project plans, updates, and post-project evaluations to support continuous improvement
- Work closely with the operations team to understand existing workflows and identify physical equipment improvements
- Act as a liaison between frontline staff and technology teams, gathering feedback and ensuring solutions meet operational needs

Painting & Blasting
Coordinate surface preparation, coating, and blasting activities to meet project specifications and QA / QC standards.Review coating specifications, batch certifications, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with client requirements.Schedule crews and ensure adequate supply of materials (abrasives, coatings, consumables).Work with QA inspectors to plan hold points, testing (DFT, adhesion, profile), and documentation.Support safety audits and ensure containment, ventilation, and waste disposal meet environmental standards.Scaffolding
Coordinate scaffold design, erection, modification, and dismantle in accordance with standards and site-specific standards.Track scaffold requests, priorities, and man-hour usage to maintain visibility of progress and cost control.Interface with client supervision to plan access needs for multiple disciplines and turnaround scopes.Ensure scaffold tagging and inspection documentation are accurate and up to date.Maintain awareness of load capacities, tie-in requirements, and risk mitigation during concurrent operations.Insulation
Support planning and coordination of mechanical insulation scopes on piping, vessels, and equipment.Ensure correct material selection (hot, cold, cryogenic, acoustic) per client specifications.Monitor installation progress, quality, and material usage against project baselines.Liaise with procurement for material orders and inventory tracking to prevent shortages or overstock.Ensure all insulation activities meet safety, fireproofing, and corrosion-under-insulation (CUI) requirements.JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Post-Secondary Education in a technical program3-5 years of Project Coordination experienceExperience in industrial maintenance, ship repair, or similar fields is considered an assetNACE certification is considered an asset3-5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industryStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and document control systemsMust be willing and able to travel to multiple work sites, including offshore facilitiesCORE SKILLS :
