Job description

Location : 10387 Nordel Court, Delta, BC, V4G 1J9

Reporting to :  Service Manager

Pay Rate : $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Shift : (Day shift) Monday to Friday between 6am – 3pm

We are currently hiring Shop Runner / Material Handler for our  Delta team wherein you will be responsible to move parts from warehouse to a variety of work bays in the shop, safely and efficiently while assisting with general labor duties throughout the shop.

As a Shop Runner in our Delta branch, you’ll be performing the following duties :

  • Complete minor repairs to facility
  • Facility maintenance and general cleaning as required
  • Perform general labor duties in a warehouse / shop environment as directed
  • Must handle moderate to heavy lifting in safe manner
  • Comply with the Company’s Health and Safety program including working in a safe and responsible manner

    • To be successful you’ll need to have the following skills and abilities :

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Solid organizational capabilities, ability to multitask and work independently
  • Work effectively in and contribute to a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 85 lbs
  • Asset to have knowledge on hand tools usage
  • Valid forklift license and a driver’s license an asset
  • Material handling or warehouse experience considered an asset
