• You are (or in the process of obtaining) a CPA with experience in a public company or large firm, ideally in a multi-currency environment.
• You are familiar with (or have a strong interest in learning about) consolidation and IFRS.
• You have excellent communication (oral and written) and writing skills in both French and English (Spanish is an asset).

As part of the financial information and accounting standards team at TC Transcontinental's team, you will act as an expert in consolidation and corporate accounting.

You will participate in the month-end closing process and in the preparation of the quarterly consolidated financial statements under IFRS.

You will also prepare, analyze and propose recommendations to identify the impacts and guide the decisions of the Corporation.

• Take an active part in the consolidation process and monthly and quarterly closing processes.
• Actively contribute to the drafting and revision of the notes for the quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, by proposing improvements or modifications due to specific transactions.
• Maintain essential procedures and processes to ensure that the Corporation's financial information complies with IFRS requirements.
• Participate in various projects related to the consolidation and preparation of internal and external financial statements.
• Participate in the preparation and drafting of financial statements for the Company's pension plans.
• Act as business partner of different sectors in day-to-day transactions, while ensuring compliance with Corporation's policies.
• Perform preliminary research for more complex transactions, document findings and propose innovative solutions based on detailed quantitative and qualitative analyses.
• Actively collaborate with external auditors during the quarterly reviews and the annual audits.
