We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative to join a fast-paced Water Heater operations team. This is a fully onsite, permanent opportunity ideal for someone with strong coordination skills and experience in service-based environments.
Position Overview
In this role, you will provide administrative, dispatch, and customer service support related to water heater installations, exchanges, and returns. You will be a key point of contact for technicians, customers, and internal teams, ensuring schedules, documentation, and communication are handled accurately and efficiently.
Compensation & Schedule
Pay Rate : $23 / hour
Benefits : Comprehensive benefits, RRSP matching, and 2 weeks’ vacation upon permanent hire
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM
Location : Brampton (fully onsite role)
Occasional Saturdays may be required for coverage
Key Qualifications
2–3 years of recent experience in Customer Service, Dispatch, or Coordination
Experience in HVAC, utilities, or a service-based industry is highly preferred
Strong computer skills with Word, Excel, and Outlook
CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce) is considered an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to professionally de-escalate frustrated or irate customers
High attention to detail with strong data entry accuracy
Quick learner who can adapt in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
Comfortable supporting dispatch operations and handling multiple priorities
Key Responsibilities
Provide ongoing administrative and clerical support to daily operations
Act as primary phone support for customers and technicians
Schedule and dispatch water heater installations and exchanges
Coordinate water heater returns, including paperwork, scheduling, and follow-ups
Organize and maintain installer schedules, including vacation / time-off coordination and workload forecasting
Contact customers to confirm exchange details such as tank size, venting, and electrical requirements
Support dispatch coverage during peak demand or staff absences
Assist with follow-up cases and issuing service opportunities
Perform general office duties including filing, copying, and correspondence as required
Provide additional administrative support as assigned
