The Kindersley Housing Authority (KHA) has an opportunity for a full‑time Maintenance Technician to join their team. If you are ambitious, results focused, a self‑starter, and skilled in building and property maintenance, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Ensure housing units are rent‑ready by undertaking minor repairs, cleaning duties and any prep work required
• Assist with garbage removal and janitorial duties
• Groundskeeping, including grass cutting and snow removal
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks and inventory controls

Requirements

• Moderate knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, flooring, electrical, septic services and boiler operations
• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with management, staff, and tenants
• Ensure day to day operations are handled promptly and effectively, and at a high standard
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent, basic computer skills, and some experience in a maintenance and repair environment
• Ability to participate in a regular, continuous on‑call program for emergencies, including evening, weekend, and holiday coverage
• A valid driver's license, reliable, roadworthy vehicle, and an approved Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) criminal record check are conditions of employment
