Job descriptionClassroom Management : Maintain an organized, respectful, and productive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher. Lesson Implementation : Follow provided lesson plans to ensure continuity in learning, adapting as necessary to meet student needs. Student Supervision : Oversee student activities and ensure their safety and well-being throughout the day, including recess and transitions. Communication : Collaborate effectively with school staff, administrators, and students to ensure smooth operations and continuity of instruction. Record Keeping : Maintain accurate attendance records and track student progress or behavior as required. Adaptability : Be flexible and responsive to different subjects, grade levels, and student needs, often with little preparation time. Behavior Management : Address student behavior issues promptly and fairly, following school policies and procedures. Professionalism : Maintain a positive and professional attitude, respecting the school’s culture, policies, and community values.
Application Requirements :
- Hold or be eligible for a valid BC teaching certificate (ideally)
- Resume
- Personal Statement of Faith
- Applicants should be committed Christians, adhering to an evangelical statement of faith, and active in a local church
