Junior Accountant

About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established organization seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join their finance team. This role will take ownership of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and more, making it an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants hands-on experience in the fundamentals of finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payment runs
• Handle Accounts Receivable, including billing, collections, and cash application
• Manage billable timesheets, ensuring accuracy for client invoicing
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies with vendors and customers
• Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations
• Enter and validate employee timesheets for payroll processing
• Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Maintain and update project financial data in internal systems
• Support senior accounting staff with reporting and ad hoc projects
