The successful candidate
will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and supportive learning environment tailored to meet the student's unique needs.Responsibilities : Implement individualized behaviour management strategies to support the student's emotional and behavioural well-being. Collaborate closely with the classroom teacher and school support team to develop and implement personalized learning plans. Provide academic support and assistance with class assignments and activities. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes the student's social-emotional growth and self-confidence. Qualifications : Experience and training in behaviour management systems, preferably in an educational or youth-focused setting. Strong understanding of mental health issues affecting children and adolescents. Ability to work effectively one-on-one with students, adapting strategies to meet individual needs. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. Experience working with Indigenous students or communities is considered an asset.
