Who are we?
Ortec Environment Services is a trusted partner for industrial companies and institutions that require large scale cleaning of their facilities anywhere in Canada.
To support our growth, we are looking for an Area Manager based in Ontario.
What will your responsibilities and duties be?
As the head of 3 agencies based in Sarnia, London and Hamilton, you will manage a business unit specializing in sanitation, industrial cleaning and industrial waste management works.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Managing an effective field team
- Stimulating and organizing commercial development
- Maintaining customer loyalty and relationships,
- Validating the relevance of the figures and prices proposed by the project managers,
- Managing contracts (contract monitoring, monthly management, customer reporting, etc.)
- Supervising the organization of operations, human resources and equipment,
- Managing the operating accounts and ensure the profitability of your area,
- Ensuring relations with employee representatives
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Do you reconize yourself ?
You are trained as a general engineer or self-made professional and you have concrete experience in the management of profit centers such as waste management, sanitation, maintenance, industrial or public works.
