Job Description:

Need a senior Business analyst with experience supporting Capital Markets/Trading projects. Candidates with Front office or Wealth Management preferred but they will consider anyone who has been supporting trading projects. Candidates need to have excellent communication skills and be on site in either location 4 days a week.

Project: Structured Edge A greenfield digital dashboard for third-party advisors to track Structured Product performance (returns assets etc.).

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Markets Business Analyst to support the buildout of a greenfield digital dashboard for third-party advisors to track Structured Product performance including returns asset values and related metrics. This role sits at the intersection of the Structured Products Trading Desk and Global Engineering requiring strong technical analysis capital markets expertise and the ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous early-stage environment.

The ideal candidate is a proactive builder who can translate high-level concepts into detailed developer-ready requirements while uncovering business logic that has not yet been fully articulated.

Core Responsibilities

• Bridge the Gap: Serve as the central point of contact between the Structured Products Trading Desk and the Global Engineering teams (Development QA Architecture).
• Requirements Architecture: Decompose high-level dashboard concepts and designs into clear granular and actionable user stories suitable for a build-from-scratch initiative.
• Data Lineage & Mapping: Identify source systems and databases for key data elements (returns asset values performance metrics) and define the formulas transformations and logic required to populate the dashboard UI.
• Stakeholder Diplomacy: Lead discovery and brainstorming sessions with business stakeholders to surface implicit requirements-focusing on the how behind calculations views and data presentation.
• End-to-End Delivery Support: Partner with QA and engineering teams to support testing validation and refinement ensuring the application framework and functionality meet Trading Desk expectations.

Candidate Profile Must Haves

• Technical Toolkit:
  • Strong SQL skills for data discovery validation and mapping
  • Proven experience writing user stories in Agile environments particularly for greenfield or net-new builds
• Domain Knowledge:
  • Prior experience in Capital Markets Trading or Wealth Management
  • Structured Products experience is a significant differentiator
• Soft Skills:
  • High-energy confident communicator able to engage senior business stakeholders
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions pushing back constructively and asking insightful questions to uncover hidden requirements
