Job description

The Role : As an X-ray Technologist in the Medical Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining accurate imaging records. You will use advanced X-ray equipment to support diagnostic processes, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assist in accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities :

Perform X-ray imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.

Ensure patient safety and comfort by effectively positioning patients and explaining procedures.

Operate, calibrate, and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring accurate image quality and proper function.

Review and verify imaging quality, identifying any need for repeat scans or adjustments.

Maintain accurate records of procedures and assist in maintaining imaging inventory and supplies.

Requirements :

Valid certification / license as an X-ray Technologist.

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of X-ray imaging procedures and safety protocols.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
