Terms of Employment : Contract (ending : 2025-06-09) Duties / Responsibilities / Skills : As per NOC 41221, Elementary school and kindergarten teachers, Elementary school teacher : Provide tutoring assistance Supervise teaching assistants and train student teachers Assign and correct homework Develop course content Evaluate the progress of students and discuss results with students, parents and school officials Identify childrens' individual learning needs Lead students in activities to promote their physical, mental and social development and their school readiness Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences and teacher training workshops Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help Prepare subject material for presentation according to an approved curriculum Prepare, administer and correct tests Teach students using lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations and field trips Salary : 65,397 to 105,897 annually (To be negotiated) / 35 hours per WeekEmployment conditions : Day, Early Morning, MorningEducation : Bachelor's degreeCredentials : Provincial Teaching Certificate requiredLanguages : EnglishExperience : Experience an assetWork setting Public school Rural area Various locations Willing to relocate Relocation costs covered by employer (New teachers may enter into an agreement to receive a $5,000 Transitional Allowance.)
