Key Responsibilities :
- Operate and Monitor Equipment : Oversee the operation of pumps, compressors, and other production equipment. Ensure all machinery is functioning correctly and efficiently.
- Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in safety meetings.
- Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment. Report any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.
- Data Collection : Record and analyze production data. Use this information to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Environmental Stewardship : Ensure all operations comply with environmental regulations. Participate in initiatives to reduce environmental impact.
- Emergency Response : Be prepared to respond to emergencies, including equipment failures and environmental incidents. Participate in emergency response drills.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with other field operators, engineers, and management to ensure smooth operations. Communicate effectively and provide support as needed.
Qualifications :
Education : Minimum Alberta 4th Class Power Engineering ticket, 3rd Class preferred.Experience : 5 years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.Skills : Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Certifications : Valid safety certifications (e.g., H2S Alive, First Aid, WHMIS) are required.Physical Requirements : Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment. Must be able to work on a rotating shift schedule.Work Schedule :
8 / 6 Rotation.84hrs / week. Rotating day / night shift. 6-hour days on day 1 and 8, 12 hour days day 2-7.Tues-Tues.
