Senior Reliability Engineer

We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• As the System Safety Engineer you will be responsible for managing and maturing our safety processes and ensuring the safety and compliance of our delivered products. Using your skills and knowledge you will assess both hardware and software to ensure mission success and uphold safety standards. You will be well-versed in industry safety standards such as MIL-STD-882E especially within the defense marine or aerospace industry.
• (SSPP) Preliminary Hazard Analyses (PHA) Functional Hazard Analyses (FHA) Sub-System Hazard Analyses (SSHA) and Safety Assessment Reports (SAR).
• Act as the Program Safety Manager for key initiatives and programs while offering guidance and support on safety aspects and smaller projects.
• Prepare presentations and participate in design reviews test readiness reviews technical interchange meetings and various working groups and safety review meetings both internally and with our external customers.
• Support the development and maintenance of system safety documents to meet customer and contractual requirements.
• Lead system safety engineering working groups to implementing standards defined in MIL-STD-882E or equivalent global safety standards.
• Collaborate with system engineers to identify and create Safety Functional Requirements.
• Review and provide input to internal and acceptance test procedures for adherence to system safety requirements.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement and expansion of the companys System Safety processes
• Assist in evaluating and ensuring that products and systems comply with environmental regulations and standards including REACH and RoHS
