Nanny Wanted - Join A Fun, Loving Family In Sooke, Bc – We're Looking For A Great Nanny! Hourly Pay Offered Determined / Based On Experience!

We’re a family of three — two work-from-home parents and our happy, busy 6-month-old — plus our lovable golden lab who enjoys being part of the action. We’re looking for a nanny who’s confident with infants, comfortable in a home where parents are around, and genuinely enjoys spending their day with a little one who loves cuddles, playtime, and getting outside for walks.

Our schedule has a bit of flexibility, but it generally looks like this :

• Monday–Thursday : somewhere between 8 am and 4 pm (we can adjust depending on the week)
• Friday : 8 am–12 pm
• No evenings, weekends, or late nights.
• We also travel one week each month and bring the baby with us, so you’d have that week off to enjoy your own time.

The qualities that matter most to us are experience with infants, patience, reliability, and someone who truly enjoys being part of a baby’s day-to-day development. It’s important that you’re comfortable working around parents who are at home and that open, honest communication feels natural to you.

A typical day would include feeding, diaper changes, naps, interactive play, and taking the baby for short walks or outings nearby. Light baby-related tasks — keeping play areas tidy, washing bottles, and occasional baby laundry — are part of the routine. Following the baby’s cues while still helping keep a consistent rhythm is key. And since our golden lab is always around, you’ll need to be fully comfortable with dogs.
