One of our manufacturing clients in Windsor, ON is looking for a Maintenance Planner for their facility.

Pay

$65 - $100K

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime
• Develop detailed job plans including labor, parts, tools, permits, and estimated time requirements
• Create and maintain preventive maintenance (PM) programs for production and facility equipment
• Work closely with maintenance, production, engineering, and stores teams to align schedules with operational needs
• Prioritize maintenance work orders based on safety, production impact, and equipment criticality
• Ensure required spare parts and materials are available prior to scheduled work
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment history, and PM schedules within the CMMS
• Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement
• Support equipment reliability initiatives and continuous improvement projects
• Assist in planning shutdowns, turnarounds, and major repairs
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Track and report key maintenance KPIs such as equipment downtime, PM compliance, and backlog
• Support contractor coordination and oversee maintenance work performed by external service providers
