TheLearning and Development Specialist is a critical role that supports theorganization in achieving our strategic goals through the development andadministration of impactful employee centric learning and development systems,programs and initiatives. The work you will undertake will complement the otherOrganizational Development and Change Management services we provide to theNAIT community. Ultimately, the work of the entire ODS team is rooted inbuilding capacity in the individual, the team, and the organization, so we cancontinue to deliver on the vision of our institutional strategic plan, TheNAIT Effect.

Reportingto the Director of HR Operations (Workday Transformation HR Lead), the Learningand Development Specialist position fills the role of a trustedsubject matter expert as part of the Workday Transformation project. As wetransition to our new HR system, Workday, you’ll be focusing on developingfunctional solutions to elevate the employee learning experience. Where we havegaps in current functionality, you’ll ask the right questions to build theright solutions and deliver it the right way. Most importantly, you’ll need tobe a team player that supports others on the Workday Transformation HR deliveryteam, listening with the intent to understand the diverse perspectives of yourcolleagues, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Contribute asa key member of the Workday Transformation HR Delivery team by leading thedevelopment and implementation of the following functionality :

  • Learning – Learning development, delivery, and operations. (Note : NAIT will continue to utilize Brightspace as our LMS for employee learning).
  • Contribute as a key member of the Workday Transformation Organizational Change Management Delivery team by developing and delivering efficient and effective training programs related to project implementation of HR and Finance functionality.

Qualifications : Need to Have

A related undergraduatedegree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Experiencein developing and administering organizational learning systems, programs andinitiatives.

Nice to Have

Experiencein Workday Learning utilization and / or implementation would be considered astrong asset.

Experience inBrightspace utilization would be considered a strong asset.

Remuneration :  $79,795.82 - $105,715.48 annually,plus a comprehensive benefits package.
