THE CENTRE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION has the following anticipated vacancies for the WINTER 2025 Semester for the EVENING AEC program Graphic & Web Design GWD-18 (AEC-LCE-OZ) January 13th to July 1st, 2025 (M-W-TH : 18 : 00 - 22 : 00).

TYPE OF CONTRACTS : CHARGE DE COURS (À LA LEÇON) (1-2.12)

COURSE : 412-B16-AB

TITLE : Graphic Design Concepts

HOURS : 60

SECTION(S) : one (1)

N.B. Contracts are contingent upon sufficient student enrollment in each course. Starting date, day / time and location for each course to be determined by the Centre for Continuing Education.

GRAPHIC & WEB DESIGN (412)

• Bachelor’s or equivalent
• degree in Fine Arts
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field may be considered
• Minimum of 3 years working experience directly related to the discipline of digital design / graphic arts
• Several years related teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred
• Excellent English communication skills essential
• Bilingualism (English / French) and ability to teach in French are preferred, as in the context of Bill 96 and the changes to the Charte de la langue française, if there is a need, the candidate must be willing and able to teach in French
• Equivalent establishes a general comparison between two official education systems

In addition to above : a Digital art / design portfolio is encouraged.

Note : In accordance with art. 4-4.04 of the Collective Agreement, the Selection Committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and / or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement. Candidates to be considered under this option must have completed at least the equivalent of a DEC or AEC. Education superior to the stated minimum requirement may be substituted for professional / industrial experience at the discretion of the selection committee.
