Mailroom Clerk
We are seeking candidates for three open roles for our client in the insurance industry. This role offers a valuable opportunity for professional growth. You will contribute to the effective operation of the client s mail distribution centers handling incoming and outgoing mail and couriers while supporting business units across Canada. This entrylevel position provides exposure to various business functions creating potential pathways for career advancement.

Fulltime position : 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 8 am to 4 pm.

Responsibilities :
Receive sort and deliver incoming mail and packages; process and ship outgoing mail and couriers.
Manage troubleshooting mail with accuracy and efficiency including handling inbound bulk mail maintaining statistics and managing workflow.
Print job management including envelope filling and mail machine operations.
Handle advisor mail correspondence including sorting quality checks and resolving unidentified mail through online portals.
Perform shipping and receiving duties including sorting branch bags lifting up to 50 lbs and delivering packages.
Process couriers using tools like UPS and Canada Post while addressing customer needs through inperson interaction phone Teams and email.
Operate Microsoft Office applications for record management and customer service tasks.
What you will need to succeed :
High school diploma or equivalent education.
Previous experience in administrative roles courier services or customer service.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Proven ability to ensure precise and clear interactions with customers and team members.
Experience in customer service with a focus on effective communication empathy and problemsolving.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Outlook and Excel.
Solid PC skills including a strong grasp of applications and systems.
Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to meet deadlines in a highvolume environment.
Physical capability to lift and handle items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Adaptability to fluctuating workloads and changing priorities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Keen attention to detail and strong problemsolving capabilities.
Positive teamoriented personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
