Job description

Can Ridge Industries Ltd. is accepting applications for a full time mobile stiff boom / folding boom crane operator to work within the Lower Mainland.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Transportation & delivery of materials and equipment to various sites throughout the Lower Mainland
  • Safe & responsible operation of a stiff boom / folding boom mobile crane truck
  • Daily inspection of crane and rigging gear
  • Daily inspection of tractor
  • Project planning and execution
  • Working independently and as part of a team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Level A CraneSafe Certification (Can Ridge may train the right applicant that has obtained Level B certification)
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license with satisfactory driving record
  • 2+ years' experience in the construction industry
  • 3+ years' driving experience

    • REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Organized, punctual and dependable
  • Physically fit to perform labour intensive tasks
  • Ability to work safely using required PPE
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely fashion
  • Knowledge of transportation routes in the Lower Mainland
  • Experience in Construction Industry : 2 years
  • Class 1 driving : 3 years
