Produce preliminary studies and estimates for electrical and automatization projects in varied manufacturing environmentProduce electrical planPerform on-site measurement and validations to design the best solution for internal clientsProduce design calculationDesign, verify and approve electricals plansProduce as built plan after project completionEnsure support to project manager teamProduce 3D Models and 2D plans of different equipment and systemsSelect commercial componentsEstablish the bill of Material (BOM)Ensure the technical monitoring of projects in collaboration with other designers, project managers and electriciansAct as technical support for the maintenance teamParticipate in the postmortem process with project manager and stakeholdersProvide feedback (post-mortem) on the project to main stakeholdersParticipate in the improvement of the existing processesHow to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience :
You hold an university degree in Electrical engineeringYou are member of OIQYou have five to ten years of electrical design experienceYou have skills in 600Vac, 120Vac distribution, Lightning, (network control access) and fire alarms;You have skills in automation and instrumentationYou have good knowledge of electrical codes and standardYou have organization and teamwork skillsYou have very good knowledge of the 3D softwares and AutoCAD. Inventor software is an assetYou are able to work under pressure and meet deadlinesYou are bilingual with good abilities for oral and written communicationYou work under minimum supervisionYou are creative and curiousYou have a logical mindset, resourcefulness, detail oriented, rigor and disciplineYou have analytical skills and ability to see the overall picturePlease note : You don’t need all the skills, knowledge, and experience listed for this position!
