Location: Calgary, AB & ON. The Geomatics Engineering Technologist role will work in the field or in the Calgary office under the direction of a Project Manager/Alberta Land Surveyor.

Responsibilities

• Work on a wide range of projects from land development to construction layout, as built and engineering surveys.
• Gather data in the field using a variety of tools, including data collectors, robotic total stations, and GNSS receivers.
• Provide office support, plan checking and prepare drawings of various types of surveys that include legal, topographic, right of ways, construction layout, as built, and engineering surveys.
• Research land titles, legal survey plans, aerial data, and other relevant information.
