Position Summary : The Product Manager is responsible for driving product strategy, development, and go-to-market execution for our product portfolio.

Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities :

Product Management :

  • Collaborate with the Director of Product Management to define and execute the product roadmap, aligning it with company goals and customer needs
  • Executes category direction by working closely with cross functional product teams (innovation, operations, sales, marketing)
  • Creates & owns product lifecycle roadmaps and manages accordingly for product launches including execution of post line review feedback
  • Product Authority for all product and packaging specifications, pricing, plant packaging specs, program set up sheets and Supply Chain communications on product specs
  • Manages the launch of sold-in products, in collaboration with the Sales Teams and Supply Chain team to deliver quality, competitive, products to customer shelf
  • Builds and maintains assortment plans for complete product channel management
  • Provides direction for POG development as required
  • Be the point of contact for the Sales Team for Product deliverables
  • Monitor product performance metrics post-launch and gather feedback to inform future product iterations.
  • Regularly communicate product updates and progress to the Director of Product Management and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Product Launches :

  • Champions the Product Launch process & presentation to Sales complete with new product knowledge training, samples, sales marketing collateral and channel marketing strategy
  • Owns and maintains the Sales Kit working closely with Design & Packaging teams to build marketing collateral to ultimately provide superior sales tools.
  • Drives new product knowledge training across Sales Teams, Customer Service & European teams, as required
  • Owns and manages the completion and maintenance of category PriceLists
  • Market Insights :

  • Performs market store Comp Shops, compiles competitive product specification and retail price data and builds market landscape reports.
  • Creates market analysis reports such as Gap Analysis, Retail Price Ladders.
  • Identify opportunities for product enhancements and new features.
  • Continuous Improvement :

  • Supports and / or lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Brings forward recommendations and insights to better improve processes as needed
  • Conducts all work duties as per the Occupational Health & Safety Act & Regulations, the Health, Safety Environmental policies and Quality policies as established by Multy Home.
  • Performs any other reasonable assignments given by the Department Management or his / her designates.
  • Education and / or Experience :

  • 5-10 years of and product development strategy and execution, in consumer packaged goods for the North American market
  • Experience leading a team of product managers in project management of product launches to customers
  • Understands the retail landscape and different channels (eg. DIY vs MASS vs CLUB)
  • Analytical skills and channel management skills with proven record of success for multi-channel product launches.
