Reporting to the Projects & Continuous Improvement Manager, the Data Analyst & Project Support role is responsible for compiling, analyzing, and tracking sales and pricing to support Aftermarket Hard Rock parts growth. This includes maintaining data accuracy in systems, monitoring metrics for reporting, and providing insights to senior leaders for decision making. Additionally, this role will handle project & continuous improvement administration such as organizing and creating project timelines, managing documentation, and facilitating communication.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze sales data using Power BI and develop standard reports for presentation to the aftermarket team and senior managers, covering parts sales performance, trends, pricing, and competitor comparison.
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance by part category, item code, geography, customer, and product line, reporting results to relevant teams.
  • Assess data from various sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends, including competitor data, and make recommendations accordingly.
  • Apply statistical modeling to estimate the impact of pricing strategies on profitability and margins.
  • Monitor parts service metrics such as inventory capture rates, OTD, warranty / quality, using data from Komatsu Mining sales distributors.
  • Maintain parts coding, factory pricing, and customer pricing in the ERP system to ensure accuracy of fixed price agreements.
  • Process parts pricing requests from dealers and internal departments, updating customers on status and following up with suppliers as needed.
  • Validate published prices, update parts pricing systems, and analyze new parts for system updates.
  • Provide administrative support for parts & service project management, including preparing presentations and managing documentation.
  • Manage project documentation, including plans, reports, and schedules.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in business administration, finance, or data analysis.
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience.
  • Valid passport and driver’s license for travel up to 15% globally.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis and interpretation.
