Maintenance Supervisor
We are actively recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor to work full time afternoons for a large Food & Beverages client in Calgary.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the general maintenance of the plant
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery, equipment, and facilities to identify issues and implement preventive maintenance measures
- Coordinate and supervise all work / service work performed by outside contractors
- Conduct periodic inspections of all plant systems, equipment, facilities, and grounds
- Oversees all changes or upgrades, whilst providing leadership and technical support to all maintenance personnel improving maintenance procedures and effectiveness
- Review shift operations, make decisions, and implement actions relative to changes on shifts that may impact processing, procedures, personnel, equipment, and customer requirements
- Investigate quality issues, define root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure accurate documentation of records and SAP entries
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, reduce maintenance costs, and increase overall efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in Maintenance Supervision or leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on food or beverage production.
- Effective leadership and communications skills with the ability to motivate and coach team members
- Strong technical background in maintenance, including knowledge of mechanical and electrical
- Proficient in SAP ERP and Microsoft Office Suite of products
