Human Resources Manager. This is a key leadership role, responsible for shaping HR strategy, leading a high-performing team, and supporting a culture of excellence in resident care within a long-term care environment.

The Job Leadership & Strategy - Partner with the leadership team to drive strategic and operational HR initiatives.
- Provide guidance on workforce planning, change management, and accreditation processes.
- Lead and coach HR and administrative staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Labour Relations & Compliance - Serve as the organization’s Labour Relations Officer, building strong relationships with union representatives.
- Support collective bargaining, grievance management, and dispute resolution.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, accreditation standards, and workplace health and safety regulations.
HR Programs & Operations - Oversee key programs including performance management, attendance, progressive discipline, recruitment, retention, and employee engagement.
- Lead disability management initiatives, including early and safe return-to-work programs.
- Manage HRIS and Learning Management Systems to optimize HR operations and decision-making.
- Participate in organizational committees and lead international recruitment efforts.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- CPHR designation or equivalent preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in healthcare, long-term care, or a unionized environment.
- Strong expertise in labour relations, collective bargaining, and disability management.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS, LMS, and Microsoft Office.
