Due to continued growth and progression planning, they are hiring a Project Manager to join their team, to work in Kapuskasing, Cochrane, Smooth Rock or Hearts Ontario.
Your new Role
Reporting to the General Manager, this is a dynamic Project Manager role offering an exciting opportunity to oversee tender management and implement robust cost-tracking mechanisms to monitor and control project expenses. The Project Manager will also be responsible for coaching Superintendents, Patrol Supervisors, and administrative staff to ensure contractpliance and high-quality service delivery. Key responsibilities include managing budgets by forecasting and allocating resources, driving safety and efficiency through effective leadership, and ensuring employee performance and training meet regulatory and policy standards. The role also involves planning and executing in-scope capital programs, managing subcontractor negotiations and performance, and ensuring alignment with contract requirements. Additionally, the Project Manager will uphold quality standards throughpliance with thepany's Quality Management System and serve as the primary liaison with the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) and other key stakeholders to meet client expectations.
What you’ll need to Succeed
To succeed, you will bring a Bachelors Degree or Diploma along with financial acumen. A proven track record of having MTO or construction management or maintenance experience. You will be proficient in MS Office Suite, including intermediate Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and drive project success. To succeed, you will bring 3–5 years of experience in Project and People Management. The business is open to considering a Senior Project Coordinator who feels ready to step up into the PM role. You will have an understanding of budgeting, cost control, and contract management. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, subcontractors, vendors and crews. Experience in maintaining Profit and Loss accounts (P&L). You will be a solidmunicator who is technically skilled and who is driven to build relationships and develop in the long term.

As the Project Manager, you will be entitled to earn apetitivepensation packageprised of a base salary of $95, 000.00- $116,000.00 (flexible experience dependent) + performance bonus, vehicle allowance, benefits, pension and more.
