Position Overview : The SCCM Software Packager & IT Administrator role will be responsible for creating, testing and deploying software packaged using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune. This role requires a deep understanding of software packaging, deployment, and management processes to ensure seamless software distribution across the organization.

Location – Mississauga, ON.

Your role within the team :

• Software Packaging & Deployment :   Create, test and deploy applications to endpoints using SCCM and Intune.
• Patch Management : Implement and manage software updates and patches to endpoints to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
• Troubleshoot : Provide technical support and resolve issues related to software packaging and deployment as well as SCCM server related problems.
• Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of software packages, deployment processes, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaboration : Work closely with IT Teams, developers, and end-users to gather requirements and ensure successful deployment of software.
• Monitor and report on software deployment status and compliance.
• Develop scripts in PowerShell to automate routine tasks, enhancing system efficiency and reliability.
• Respond swiftly to incident tickets, offering timely updates and escalating issues when necessary.
• Execute change requests stemming from trouble tickets, or planned production changes ensuring seamless system modifications.
• Learn and develop skills in IT Infrastructure (cloud, virtualization, storage) to further enhance the teams’ capabilities.
