Infrastructure Operations Administrator

Position Overview : The SCCM Software Packager & IT Administrator role will be responsible for creating, testing and deploying software packaged using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune.
This role requires a deep understanding of software packaging, deployment, and management processes to ensure seamless software distribution across the organization.
Location Mississauga, ON.
Your role within the team :
- Software Packaging & Deployment : Create, test and deploy applications to endpoints using SCCM and Intune.
- Patch Management : Implement and manage software updates and patches to endpoints to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
- Troubleshoot : Provide technical support and resolve issues related to software packaging and deployment as well as SCCM server related problems.
- Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of software packages, deployment processes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaboration : Work closely with IT Teams, developers, and end-users to gather requirements and ensure successful deployment of software.
- Monitor and report on software deployment status and compliance.
- Develop scripts in PowerShell to automate routine tasks, enhancing system efficiency and reliability.
- Respond swiftly to incident tickets, offering timely updates and escalating issues when necessary.
- Execute change requests stemming from trouble tickets, or planned production changes ensuring seamless system modifications.
- Learn and develop skills in IT Infrastructure (cloud, virtualization, storage) to further enhance the teams’ capabilities.

The ideal candidate :
- A college diploma in Information Technology, or equivalent work experience in the field.
- A minimum of 5 years of scripting and software automation using SCCM and / or Intune.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SCCM and Intune.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and software deployment processes.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Powershell.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a knack for addressing complex technical challenges.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other IT professionals.
- Ability to multitask and function in a fast-paced environment.
- A customer-centric approach, consistently delivering service that meets and exceeds expectations.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in French considered an asset, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Eligibility to secure a LEVEL II SECRET security clearance, demonstrating trustworthiness and responsibility.
- Preferred Certifications : Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator Associate.CompTIA Server+.
- Working Conditions : May have to lift equipment weighing up to 30 kilos.Occasional overtime work on evenings and weekends.
