The Business / Financial Management Analyst will support departmental leadership by providing analytical, financial, and operational management to improve decision-making, optimize performance, and enhance overall business effectiveness. This role involves financial oversight, portfolio and resource management, and enabling organizational governance through strategic analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide analytical and process support to department leadership, offering actionable insights that enable strategic decisions and drive business success.
- Manage all financial aspects including budgeting, forecasting, financial performance tracking, vendor demand, invoicing, accruals, Total Cost of Ownership, lifecycle management, optimization, and training/T&E.
- Oversee portfolio management to ensure business objectives are aligned with programs and projects and monitor delivery structure and provider/business allocations.
- Lead resource management activities including workforce strategy execution, scenario planning, hire approvals/tracking, onboarding/offboarding, contingent worker compliance, and space management/planning.
- Support organizational governance including cost center maintenance, department structure oversight, leadership presentations, and related administrative functions.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance and/or Business Management
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, and/or Accounting; FP&A knowledge is an asset
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis packages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Experience working effectively in cross-functional teams with internal and external partners
- Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Education
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
