Shift Lead – Starbucks
The Bookstore is the University’s one‑stop shop for books, supplies and stationery, clothing and giftware. Our Starbucks location provides coffee and a variety of snacks and serves faculty, students, staff, and the local community.
Reporting to the Starbucks Manager, the Shift Leader assists the Starbucks Operations Supervisor in supervising the daily operation of the high‑volume Starbucks located at the lower level of the bookstore.
Responsibilities
- Daily supervision of baristas in the Operations Supervisor’s absence
- Assist in training new and existing coffee shop staff
- Prepare food and beverages
- Operate cash register and coffee machines
- Complete light manual duties
