Reporting to the Director, Nitrogen Supply, West, this position manages nitrogen product lines manufactured and / or marketed by Nutrien. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across multiple functional areas, including Operations, Sales, Transportation, Distribution & Logistics, and Finance / Accounting.
Location : Calgary, AB or Saskatoon, SK – in‑office presence required.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively identify and resolve problems and make decisions related to balancing supply / demand, inventory levels, capacities, and customer fulfillment.
- Ensure products are in the right place at the right time, meeting cost and service objectives.
- Participate in the supply management portion of the sales and operational planning process.
- Analyze supply plan performance and variances, recommend corrective actions, and maintain supply forecast accuracy metrics and parameters.
- Recommend and deliver improvements to the supply planning and supply chain execution processes.
- Serve as a member of the Product Management team that provides direction and support for optimization and growth of the product line.
- Play a critical role in ensuring both your own safety and the safety of others, demonstrating Nutrien’s Culture of Care.
- Collaborate with the Product Management Team and other Nutrien functional areas to execute critical business activities, delivering on monthly, quarterly, and annual volume targets.

What You’ll Bring
A college degree with 6‑8 years of related experience, preferably in supply chain or business / product management.Strong knowledge and understanding of Nutrien’s products, customer base, manufacturing flows, and supply chain.Proven relationship building and communication skills; able to drive cross‑functional alignment, work collaboratively, and interact effectively with other business functions.Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and decision‑making skills.Highly focused on customer service, business requirements, expectations, and needs.Ability to apply insightful judgment to problem solving, adapt and learn from new situations.Passion to develop and sustain processes.Highly organized and effective at prioritization.Ability to recommend or influence issue resolution strategies supported with data‑driven analysis.Ability to challenge strongly held assumptions.Demonstrated sense of urgency and strong commitment to meeting deadlines.Demonstrated track record in execution and business results achievement.Strong working knowledge of Excel and other systems (SAP, MSS, SAP‑IBP, HANA).Ready to make an impact with us?
