Direct and coordinate all construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Provide technical expertise and innovative solutions throughout planning, design, and execution phases.
Review and interpret construction drawings, technical documents, and project specifications to guarantee regulatory and design compliance.
Conduct site inspections and oversee quality control to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain safety standards.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project milestones on time and within budget.
Prepare and manage project documentation, including progress reports, inspection records, and compliance submissions.
Support resource planning and procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
Identify potential risks and implement corrective measures to prevent delays or budget overruns.
Mentor junior engineers, offering technical guidance and fostering professional growth.
Promote environmental sustainability and best practices throughout all construction phases.
Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to financial constraints. Requirements :
Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a construction-related field.
P.Eng. or P.E. designation preferred.
Minimum 8 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with large-scale industrial facility projects.
Strong experience managing technical aspects of construction projects, including earthwork, foundations, and buried piping.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and meet project deadlines.
