Squamish Nation consists of 23 villages and is comprised of descendants of the Coast Salish Aboriginal people who live in the present-day Greater Vancouver area, Gibson's Landing, and Squamish River watershed. About The Opportunity

Working as an integral part of the Ta na wa Sheway i7xw ta Uxwumixw - Squamish Valley Operations Department, reporting to the Director, Squamish Valley Operations, this position will be responsible for supporting the Director with reports, stats tracking, and support to the Director regarding day-to-day Administrative functions, and Council Committee meetings. The incumbent will be responsible for managing information flow in a timely and accurate manner as well as managing the Director's calendar and set up meetings. This role requires an organized and adaptable schedule, uses excellent oral and written communication skills to ensure project(s) meet deadlines. The incumbent will set up and manage spreadsheets, put together presentations, graphics, organizational skills and communication. The executive assistant provides project management expertise and support to the director regarding the referral management system, which is focused on day-to-day administrative functions, evaluation of programs, and quality assurance for the department.
