Architectural Technologist & Representative

Arriscraft Canada, a world leader in manufactured stone products, is seeking an Architectural Technologist & Representative to support our technical services and sales efforts. Arriscraft has been manufacturing premium stone products in Ontario since 1949 and is a trusted supplier to North America’s residential and commercial construction markets.
This role is ideal for a technically skilled, detail-oriented professional with strong building science knowledge who enjoys working directly with architects, engineers, and construction professionals in a dynamic, client-facing environment.
Position Overview:
The Architectural Technologist & Representative works closely with the Sales team and directly with customers to ensure proper detailing, specification, and installation of Arriscraft’s stone cladding systems. This position supports building projects across North America and plays a key role in technical documentation, drawings, and customer support.
This is an on-site role, with office locations in Burlington and Cambridge, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Sales and customers including architects, engineers, and installers
Provide technical support related to stone cladding systems and building envelope design
Produce material takeoffs and shop drawings for residential and commercial projects
Prepare and review architectural details to ensure proper installation and performance
Assist in the development and maintenance of Arriscraft’s technical library, including:
Support projects throughout North America, including site visits as required
Qualifications:
Demonstrable building science knowledge within the North American construction market
Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology, Architectural Science, Architectural Engineering, Building Science, or related field
Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM software
Knowledge of building envelopes and cladding systems
Strong understanding of moisture movement (wind-driven rain, capillary action, vapor diffusion, dew point)
Proven, hands-on experience in architectural detailing
Strong verbal and written communication skills
English required; French considered an asset
Willingness to travel throughout Canada and the United States
