Description

We are hiring a Full-time, Temporary Pharmacist for our clinic located in Calgary .

The Pharmacist uses professional knowledge, interpersonal skills, critical thinking skills, technical skill and clinical judgment in providing quality pharmaceutical care to patients.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Provide pharmaceutical care to patients.
  • Educate patients regarding complex medication regimens, and methods of medication administration.
  • Provide pharmaceutical advice and guidance to patients, other clinic divisions and outside pharmacies.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized University.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in a clinical setting
  • Current Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP) registration.
  • Injection certification.
  • Advanced prescribing license an asset.
  • Knowledge of sterile technique
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to multitask and reprioritize.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Professionalism and understanding in patient interactions.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other divisions within the organization.
