Title : Data Governance Specialist III
Duration : 6 months, renewable
Work Environment : Hybrid, 2 days working in Mississauga (Tue and Thu)

Role
- Part of the EXECUTION’ team specialized with hands-on tools & technologies required for onboarding Data Governance assets into the Centralized Data governance platform
- Coordinate with the team on features and techniques to be used for data load
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage tools and technologies roll out of data governance frameworks, including policies, standards, procedures, processes and metrics.
- Hands-on support and execution of Data governance practices on behalf of business, coordinate the work and deliverables
- Develop & maintain inventory of the information assets, including authoritative systems, data domains, data owners, and the enterprise data governance platform, etc.
- Facilitate and conduct workshop with business partners to identify the assets, collect & curate the metadata
- Serve as a liaison between Business, Functional areas and technology to ensure that data related business assets are clearly identified and defined.
- Define indicators for performance, compliance and adoption of data related policies, standards and practices.
Must have :
- 8 years of IT experience with 4-5 years of experience in Data Governance and Data related programs’
- Solid understanding of data governance, metadata management and data quality practices
- Hands-on Experience in any one of the Data Governance tools, preferably Collibra
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Desire to investigate and try-out new tools and technologies as they are released.
- Ability to work under tight timelines, in cases for multiple project deliveries.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and Presentation skills
- Evidence of self-motivation for continuous development.
Nice to have :
- Knowledge on Retail domain

- Knowledge on Data tools
- Relevant certification(s) in the field of data governance
