Blackbird Interactive is looking for a 3D Generalist to join our team. You'll model and texture level assets, including environment art, terrain, and props for a AAA Action Adventure Game.

Responsibilities
- Create 3D models, shaders and texture maps, to match concept art, art direction, and design.
- Work closely with the Leads to keep scale, details, and quality consistent across all asset work.
- Work with both the level design and narrative teams to produce AAA standard textured assets.
- Able to adapt work methods to the project pipeline and meet technical constraints.
- Stay up to date on best practices in the video game industry, and work to integrate them into the project.
- Work on tasks with clear direction, with and without supervision.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge and proficiency with Maya.
- Knowledge of game art asset implementation in modern game engines.
- Experience creating textures for a PBR lighting model.
- Knowledge of Substance Painter / Designer.
- Proven capability to work on multidisciplinary project teams and is able to handle changing priorities throughout a product life cycle.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as a proven track record working with a team.
Nice-to-haves :
- Plays modern action-adventure games.
- Demonstrated passion for entertainment products / media ( comics, movies, novels, etc.)
- Knowledgeable of Quixel Bridge and Mixer.
