Confined Space Attendant

We are hiring Confined Space Attendants for upcoming projects in April. By joining us as a Confined Space Attendant we provide the opportunity to gain valuable industrial/mine site experience. Those with background or education in nursing, personal support worker, paramedicine – often succeed very well as a Confined Space Attendant.

About the job:

In this role you will be a member of our confined space team who are assigned to a variety of our client’s sites. We operate 24/7, so available shifts are day, evening & weekends. Our ideal candidates are team oriented with FLEXIBILITY and AVAILABILITY in their schedule.

• Performs confined space attendant functions; stays outside of the confined space to monitor the entrant, guard against unauthorized entry, warn entrants of any unusual conditions and be responsible for calling rescue personnel if needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be punctual
• Hard working
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Able to complete repetitive tasks

What you need:

• Team oriented, good communication & interpersonal skills (oral and written)
• Ability to foster strong team and client relationship building skills
• Ability to follow Health & Safety programs & procedures
• Own transportation – public transportation not available
• Working at Heights an asset
• Half Mask, WHMIS, Sudbury INO and other certificates considered an Asset
• Must be located in Sudbury,ON
