- Collate data, compile statistics, and prepare reports.
Qualifications
Master\'s degree in Social WorkFive (5) years of recent related clinical experience working with BC’s adult guardianship legislation or similar legislationEquivalent combination of training and experienceCurrent practicing registration with applicable regulatory body and / or membership in applicable professional association, as applicableValid BC Driver\'s license and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposesThis Full-Time opportunity is located at Central City Tower in Surrey, BC . Successful candidate may be eligible to work remotely.
Detailed Overview
Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients / clients / residents and families. The Advisor guides Fraser Health\u2019s clinical practice compliance with British Columbia\u2019s adult guardianship legislation and provides first tier response to staff and physicians regarding practice obligations. The Advisor collaborates with the Manager, Adult Protection Program to identify and meet learner needs through education delivered online, virtually, and in person.
Responsibilities
Provides expertise, support and guidance to FH staff and physicians regarding adult guardianship legislation and related laws.Partners with internal stakeholders to maximize FH clinical practice compliance with adult guardianship legislation and related laws.Develops education, materials, and resources to support FH staff and physicians.Delivers education to FH staff and physicians, and specialized education to FH designated responders, in collaboration with the Manager, Adult Protection Program.Collaborates with internal partners to develop, implement and evaluate FH programs, guidelines, and services for vulnerable and incapable adults.Identifies quality issues and recommends quality improvement initiatives to the Manager.Maintains an environment that values continuous learning through planning, development, evaluation and delivery of education and services.Integrates research and best practice into the delivery of services to vulnerable and incapable adults.Represents the Adult Protection Program on internal committees as assigned.About Fraser Health
