Housing is part of the platform of every level of government in Canada and there is both debate and agreement on how to grow the housing stock across the country.

Our client, an established, privately-owned real estate developer and manager is at the forefront of that discussion in Ontario.

With the focus on communities, they are making their presence felt across the province.

The Vice-President, Finance is a newly created senior finance leadership role, reporting directly into the Founder and is a key member of the Executive Management Team.

This role was created as part of their strategic growth plan and expansion within the real estate sector.

The Vice-President, Finance will work closely with the Founder and President to provide leadership, direction and management of the company’s finance function for the holding company and the various operating and investment entities.

The incumbent will be an advisor to the owner, support deal structuring, lead and mentor the finance team and be accountable for all financial, treasury, operational, risk management and IT activities.

The ideal candidate will be a CPA with 10+ years of real estate development experience and a track record of leading and developing teams, ideally in a high growth environment.
