ASSISTANT MANAGER OF OPERATIONS

The Simcoe County District School Board is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Manager of Operations for the Facility Services Department. Reporting to the Manager of Operations, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for : assisting with all functions relating to staffing; coordinating professional development and training programs; assisting the Manager with monitoring budgets; coordinating the acquisition and evaluations of Operations' supplies, equipment and uniforms; responding to concerns and inquiries relating to custodial and general maintenance services; monitoring the efficiency of general maintenance work order completions; and overseeing the alarm response and pest control contracts for all SCDSB facilities.

This position works twelve (12) months of the year. The compensation for this twelve (12) month position is $121,753 per year. This position is based on a thirty-five (35) hour work week.
Participation in the OMERS Pension Plan is mandatory for all full-time permanent employees,
even if currently in receipt of an OMERS pension.
