Milton's next Economic Development Manager will serve as the City's primary liaison to local businesses, a key role that can lead to widespread positive impact across the community.

Whomever assumes this role will provide strategic leadership to attract and retain businesses, diversify the tax base, and strengthen local services. A big part of his or her success is building partnerships, connecting business leaders to municipal resources, and advising City leadership on economic trends while implementing strategies that market Milton as a premier place to live, work, and do business.

With a focus on neighborhood-scale, community-oriented growth, the position supports efforts to enhance local employment opportunities, preserve Milton’s unique character, and expand options for residents to live, work, and shop within their own community.
