Jr. Financial Analyst | Scarborough

Your r esponsibilities
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts as per TKE policy making sure all AR and AP transactions are correctly accounted and journalized.
Communicate and resolve any discrepancy with appropriate department
- General ledger account reconciliations including Cash, Payroll, and Intercompany accounts.
- Prepare journal entries for month-end close activities
- Provide ongoing assistance and support during the annual & quarterly audits
- Conduct accounting research as need and recognize potential problems
- Interact with all areas in Finance to look for ways to streamline processes and improve quality of work performed
- Support the Finance team in completing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing and reporting requirements and ad hoc projects
Your qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years relevant accounting experience
- College diploma or university degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field
- Strong skills with MS Excel, Office 365, Oracle would be an asset
- Strong analytical and inquiry skills to understand operational processes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with superior analysis and problem-solving skill
