DLS Technology Corporation is looking for a Senior Tech Lead Business Consultant for a 12 month contract role. The successful candidate must be set up as an Independent Consultant, and must be located in Ottawa.

This is a hybrid work role, with some work to be done on site.

The ideal candidate for this position has at minimum Level 2 Secret clearance Security Clearance level, , and is ready to start this project in April 2024.

This is a 12 month full time project, with deliverables due throughout the contract.

Client & Role Overview :

Our client is seeking a Tech lead to develop and guide a team of Senior Developers and Developers, specializing in .net full-stack development using the following technologies .

NET development (C#), ReactJS, NodeJS, Typescript, Azure Function App. Kubernetes, microservices. The Contractor will complete, at a minimum, the following services and provide the associated deliverables described below :

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Guides and advises a team of developers in their work by providing mentoring, guidance knowledge sharing and helping team members grow their technical skills and making sure coding standards are followed.
• Plays key role in system architecture and design and technical decisions (technologies, frameworks and tools selection).
• Conducts code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and design best practices and help resolve technical issues.
• Oversee the implementation, maintenance of the product and of the tools for the automated builds, tests, deployment, security infrastructure.
• Ensures that documentation is created and maintained for architecture, design, development and deployment processes.
• Collaborates with various stakeholders (product owners, scrum masters, other technical teams, etc.) to ensure technical aspects align with business goals.
• Authors technical specification documents and diagrams for client’s platforms and custom developed applications.
• Completes application development projects according to SDLC best practices.

Must have :

level 2 Secret clearance

experience leading a team of developers

government experience, understanding of the federal government requirements

must be able to demonstrate competencies in the above task requirements of the role
