Welcome each guest warmly and with enthusiasm, creating a positive first impressionMaintain awareness of surroundings and assist guests whenever neededShare menu knowledge confidently and make informed recommendations about food and beverage offeringsGuide guests through their dining experience by presenting courses thoughtfully, explaining menu items, and ensuring each dish and beverage is enjoyed to its fullestUtilize seat-specific ordering to ensure accurate delivery of food and prevent auctioning at the tableEnter information accurately and clearly into the POS system to ensure smooth communication with the back-of-house teamRespond promptly and courteously to guest requests or concernsMaintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned sections throughout the shiftAdhere strictly to all food safety standards and proceduresAnticipate and accommodate special requests, celebrations, food preferences, and guest allergiesPerform additional duties as assigned to support overall restaurant operationsQualifications
Minimum of 2 years of serving experience in a similar environmentValid Smart Serve Certification requiredStrong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and consistencyAbility to remain calm, professional, and efficient in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to drive salesProven ability to multitask and prioritize effectivelyStrong oral and written communication skillsHigh level of food and beverage product knowledgeAbility to maintain professional urgency and momentum throughout shiftsFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededLegally eligible to work in CanadaAbility to remain standing for extended periods and safely lift and move up to 25 lbsReliable transportation to and from the workplaceAdditional Information
