    Who are you?

    We seek a compassionate Autism Employment Facilitator to join our team. The ideal candidate will understand the social nuances and communicative differences experienced by Autistic job seekers. The facilitator will work closely with both job seekers and employers to ensure workplace success.

    Key Responsibilities :

    • Review referral documentation and coordinate intake meetings.
    • Liaise with family members, advocates, and service providers.
    • Determine program eligibility and provide referrals if ineligible.
    • Perform case management and maintain clear notes.
    • Coordinate weekly pre-employment meetings with clients.
    • Develop activities to highlight clients' strengths and support their needs.
    • Assist clients with resumes, cover letters, and job applications.
    • Advocate for clients with employers and support them during interviews.
    • Provide employers with inclusive hiring tools.
    • Develop tool kits to assist clients' workplace independence.
    • Attend shifts to assist with HR processes, training, and onboarding.
    • Provide on-call support to clients and employers.
    • Attend job fairs and community events to stay engaged with labor market issues.
    • Qualifications :

    • Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in employment counselling, social services, communications, or combination or equivalent combination of experience and education
    • Experience in the community and employment sector, specifically with individuals with Autism.
    • Strong observational skills and understanding of social nuances.
    • Ability to develop and implement individualized support plans.
    • Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
    • Experience in case management and maintaining detailed records.
    • High achievement orientation to meet and exceed targets
    • Knowledge of inclusive hiring practices.
    • Strong computer skills including past experience working with a customer relationship management platform
