We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Staff Software Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and small team and overseeing the development and maintenance of an ad exchange platform.
This position will suit a candidate who is looking for a step up into a director-level role.
- Contribute to developing and maintaining the ad exchange platform and Server Side Ad Insertion module, ensuring high performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of ad technology to support the ad exchange platform, including ad serving, targeting, tracking, and optimization.
- Implement and maintain integrations with external ad networks, data providers, and other advertising platforms.
- Optimize ad delivery and performance through continuous monitoring, testing, and improvement of ad serving mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the ad exchange platform, working closely with support teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
To excel in this opportunity, you should have :
- Proficient in the programming language Python (specifically Python Flask), with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable, production-ready code
- Experience in developing in an AWS cloud environment (EC2, Cloudwatch, Redis, RMQ, Postgres, Cloudwatch, Firehose, SQS, SNS, Route53)
- Previous Adtech experience in Server-Side Ad Insertion,Ad tracking, Ad parameters, Ad tags, CTV ad servers, Ad pricing and optimization
