Job description

For our location Brossard, Quebec we are looking for you as :

Service Technician

What challenges can you expect?

You will perform maintenance, servicing and repair of on-load tap-changers and transformers for power supply companies and industrial customers
Thereby, you will be preplanning service jobs to be carried out
You will take care of problem assessment in regard to Load Tap-Changer units, Power Transformer’s accessories and equipments, including its resolution
You will propose and recommend additional solutions to Customers in order to improve the asset reliability
You will create technical service reports and forward it to the Service Manager
Furthermore, you will be dedicated to support the company development strategy with other duties as assigned

What do we expect from you?

You are a skilled worker with appropriate experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (

Thereby, you enjoy practical and challenging hand-on tasks in the electrical / mechanical field

Ideally, you already have experience in the maintenance and repair of on-load tap-changers or transformers

You have experience, enjoy digitalization in the industrial environment and can inspire our customers with it

A detailed as well as independent way of working characterizes you

Reliability and customer orientation are self-evident to you

You are fluent in French and English language (read / written / spoken)

In addition, you have basic computer skills (MS Office)

Your availability to travel rounds off your profile (approximately 70%)

Furthermore, you are committed to Health and Safety

And you’re holding a Canadian citizenship or Permanent Residen
