Your Opportunity

In this position as an Electrical Engineering Technician / Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a team of engineers and technologists on multiple projects for a range of public and private sector clients. An Electrical Engineering Technician / Technologist will complete tasks on water and wastewater facilities, and conveyance pipelines projects such as pump / lift stations. Work performed will be under the general supervision of a Senior Electrical Engineering Technician / Technologist or Engineer.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinates with other disciplines to ensure compatibility with the design intent.
• Supports the project team in development of design, documentation, plans and reports for relevant project design elements.
• Performs calculations to analyze and design electrical system components.
• Draws on proactive and analytical problem-solving skills to deliver robust electrical models.
• Assists in the coordination of design and specifications within the context of a multidisciplinary design team.
• Develops and updates equipment and tag lists.
• Reviews documentation such as shop drawings for key technical information.
• Conducts site observation and / or inspection activities during design or construction phases of the project.
• Works closely with the Electrical Engineer and engineering group to advise on project tools usage, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
• Performs thorough quality control of construction documents and provides design ideas and solutions.

Pay Range : Locations Outside of Lower Mainland - BC : Min Salary $79,700.00 - Max Salary $115,500.00; Locations in Lower Mainland - BC : Min Salary $84,500.00 - Max Salary $122,400.00. Pay Transparency : In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for locations where required. Final compensation is based on education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Some roles are bonus eligible.
