Professional Recruiter | Accounting & Finance - HR & Office Administration

Our global client, in the Nuclear industry, is seeking a driven and self‑directed Senior Accountant to join their finance team at their Cambridge location. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact, take ownership of key accounting functions and contribute to future system migrations. Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliations and prepare journal entries.
• Manage all aspects of inventory accounting.
• Assist with percentage of completion (PoC) accounting as needed.
• Handle month‑end journal entries
• Functionally assist with the planned migration to SAP Hana in the coming years.
• Collaborate effectively with the site controller and accounting clerks.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience with inventory accounting (required).
• 3 plus years of experience in full cycle accounting is required
• Experience with percentage of completion (PoC) accounting is a plus.
• CPA designation is desired however it is not a requirement
• Proven ability to work independently and be self‑directed.
• Comfortable working in a small finance team environment and adapting to manual accounting processes.
